I had to watch my kid, B’s, performance of Godspell and it was just absolutely shit. I personally believe you’ve got to crush a kid’s dreams to watch them fly. So when B came up and asked how he did, I told him I didn't want him to act anymore and that he had to find his own way home. I know I should feel bad, but it felt good to get the truth off my chest. Plus, there was so much more room in the car when I drove home without him. Still, AITA?
